Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Private Entrepreneur Tornike Berydze ("we", "us"), provider of AuditCleanse (the "Service"), handles personal and financial information. The Service is intended for businesses and accounting professionals in the United States.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, role, and billing details you provide.
- QuickBooks Online data: when you authorize a connection through Intuit's OAuth 2.0, we retrieve company information, accounting preferences (such as book close date), chart of accounts, classes, locations, vendors, customers, and transactions (purchases, deposits, journal entries, invoices, bills and payments). We never receive your QuickBooks password.
- Audit records: flags, approved changes, before/after snapshots, reasons and timestamps you create in the Service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic usage and error logs.
2. How we use information
We use information only to provide, secure, support and improve the Service: running audit checks, showing proposed fixes, applying changes you approve, keeping an audit trail, generating CPA packages, billing, and communicating with you about your account.
We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not use your QuickBooks data to train AI models.
3. How we share information
- Intuit: to read from and, when you approve a change, write to your QuickBooks company.
- Service providers: hosting, infrastructure and payment processors acting on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
- Business transfer: to a successor in a merger or sale, subject to this Policy.
4. Security
QuickBooks access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and are never sent to your browser. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The Service runs on a global cloud network. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your QuickBooks company is connected and your account is active. After you disconnect a company or close your account, we retain the related data and audit trail for 15 months (to support reverts, audit inquiries and CPA follow-up), then delete it. You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, access it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by law. To exercise your rights, email us; we will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Disconnecting QuickBooks
You can disconnect at any time from the Connections page in the Service or from your Intuit account's app settings. Disconnecting revokes our access to your QuickBooks data going forward.
8. Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to children under 13 (or under 18). We do not knowingly collect children's information.
9. International processing
We are based in Georgia and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We apply the protections in this Policy wherever data is processed.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service before they take effect, and the effective date above will change.
